How to find us
From the M60, take junction 19 towards Manchester on Middleton Road (A576). Take the second left on to Victoria Avenue, and after a mile (just after St. Clare's R.C. Church and Primary School) turn right at the mini-roundabout onto Plant Hill Road. The Academy Theatre is down the road, on the right. The main car park is Gate 4 (the third down from the top Gate 6).
Or, leaving Manchester on Rochdale Road (A664) take a left at The Avenue Library and Learning Centre onto Victoria Avenue, and after a mile (a few hundred yards after E-ACT Blackley Academy) turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Plant Hill Road. The Academy Theatre is down the road, on the right. The main car park is Gate 4 (the third down from the top Gate 6).
Pedestrian access
The main pedestrian access to the Academy Theatre is via Gate 3. The Gate 4 car park has a walkway leading down past the School building.
In both instances, the theatre entrance can be found on the right, before you reach the Main Reception and should be used when visiting the theatre as an audience member.
For all other meetings / contracting work please enter the Co-op Academy via the Main Reception entrance were you will be signed in by our Reception Staff.
Car parking
Visitors to the Theatre can park in any of the academy's car parks. The gate labelled Gate 4 is a spacious car park and closest to the Theatre. Overflow car parking can be found via Gate 1.
Disabled visitor access
Disabled bays are available at the front of the academy near the bus bays. Please use the buzzer on the right at Gate 1 to access these, or, if out of office hours / term time, please contact the Theatre Manager.

By tram
The nearest tram stop is Bowker Vale (Stop A), Middleton Road, Crumpsall - which is a 1.17 mile journey to the Academy Theatre.
By rail
The nearest railway station is Moston - a 2.5 mile journey to the Academy Theatre. Please see northernrail.org

Theatre loading bay
For any large deliveries to the Academy Theatre (equipment, set, costumes etc.), the backstage loading bay may used. This is accessed via the Gate 6 car park entrance and is down the private gated road. Please contact the Theatre Manager to ensure the gates are opened prior to your delivery.
